This was our very first tee design. John Muir, known as the Father of the National Parks - is our hero. He is one of our greatest inspirations, so we couldn’t think of a better way to kick things off.
Well, we still have some of these, and still love the design. Our intention is to open up a dialogue on our public lands, and the protection and care of them. Who better to represent that than John Muir?!
We took the tees and tie-dyed them by hand using ethically sourced organic turmeric, and organic rosemary from our own garden! We made the dye ourselves, in a response to the toxicity of most dyes in the market today.
These are hand-dyed art pieces, made with organic materials. Pieces have been washed - but may bleed. Colors and patterns WILL vary. Flaws and blemishes are natural. We cannot predict or guarantee reactions that the natural dyes may have (lavender oil oddly turns the fabric red).
